Ridiculously inexpensive. I stayed here as we just needed a place to sleep en route to Colorado and I tend to be "thrifty." I didn't tell my wife the room rate as she would have pressured me to go with a more expensive room. The room was pretty clean, comfortable and the A/C unit, despite looking like a relic from the Eisenhower administration, blew cold as Alaska even though it was 100+ degrees outside. Also, key areas of the room were updated, such as the bathroom, which had a forceful water flow. The lobby smelled faintly of ethnic food and the proprietor was an extremely friendly guy, probably of Indian descent.

This is a Knights Inn, not a Hyatt. The building is old and tired and the outside grounds were not kept up. Also, taking the hallway to my room I felt as if I was trudging toward a room rented by one of the characters in Hopper's "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" as it was old and tired looking. All in all, if you're on a tight budget it's probably the best you'll find for the money. If you're just being very thrifty but can afford a newer room and have a picky wife then spring for a newer hotel.

    Only the Price

The staff cooked something that left a strong and not too pleasant odor. To put it in perspective, the odor from the cattle carrier parked outside was a pleasant relief,

  • Family with children

The rooms were large and clean. The staff was very helpful. The price was very reasonable.

The breakfast consisted of packages of muffins, orange juice and coffee. The hotel needed outside trash cans, patrons were leaving trash everywhere.

  • Family with children

    The awesome pool and spa!

Heater didn't really work so well.

  • Family with children

Convenient location and clean rooms. Great price.

Noisy guests late into the night/early morning.

  • Family with children

The hot tub and the fact that it had a indoor pool.

The pool was damn cold! Seriously needed turned up about 10 degrees. It was painfully cold and the whole reason we stayed there was so the kids could play in the pool, which was a very short venture before my 2 year old turned blue! We will not be staying here again for that reason alone.

The good quality sheets actually fit the bed! The pillows were fluffy and wonderful. The water pressure is excellent. Coffee, juice and muffins for breakfast. A guest-use computer in the lobby so you can do quick internet-type business. The proprietor is not servile but friendly and relaxed. There's 3 restaurants in walking distance plus a convenience mart. I was really impressed with this place for the money.

The indoor pool was closed... ?

  • Older travelers

Coffee maker in Lobby for cont. Breakfast did not work. Very limited on food selection.

  • Group of friends

Wonderful staff and room, location and ease of unloading. We were right next to our door. Thank you so much!

The Motel fit my needs for a 3-day business trip: quite, clean, comfortable bed for sleeping, hot water for bathing/showers. Even some extras, such as: hair blower, coffee pot, ironing board&iron and clock radio. Nice furnishing--I was pleasantly surprised for the price I paid!!!!

Seems to be some difficulty, at times, with my pass key working.

  • Family with children

Location was good. A big plus was the near by amenities and the pool and hot tub was a plus as well!

For the price you really couldn't beat it.

  • Older travelers

large room, comfortable bed, microwave & fridge. Hotel looks like it has had a remodel with new carpet & beds. The rooms were very clean but there was still a bit of age showing in the bathrooms. Good indoor hot tub and pool. Price was very good.

Breakfast was minimal with just packaged muffins and honey buns but they were good quality and the coffee and juice were very good. AC was a little noisy in the room but again, not a terrible problem.

  • Older travelers

Room was clean and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast at Kinights Inn was rather sparse but the owner also owns the Days Inn which is next door and invites guests to enjoy breakfast at either location.

The water is the whirl pool was cold. There were some minor maintenance issues in the room which were reported to the staff upon check out.

  • Family with children

Convenient and right off the freeway, but a little noisy. Good value.

  • Family with children

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The swimming pool and hot tub were very nice, with a large area. It was much better pool and pool area than the more expencive motels we have stayed in at Salina.

The breakfast was not as large as some of the other motels, but for the price it was OK.
